The Rhodes Scholarship is offered to young people across the world to study at the University of Oxford. Check to see if you meet the eligibility criteria and apply for a chance to study at one of the world’s most prestigious universities.

Scholarship details

• The programme is available only for postgraduate students. Hence you must have completed or be about to complete your undergraduate degree.
• The scholarship covers Oxford University fees as well as providing an annual stipend.
• The scholarship will also cover costs for visa, medical fees and air tickets to and fro the UK for the beginning and end of studies.

Eligibility

• For West African candidates, you must have been resident in your country for at least five of the last ten years.
• You must be aged between 18 and 25. For medical, dental and pharmaceutical students, you must not be older than 26.
• You must have finished with a first class honours, or in the case of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy courses, a distinction.
• You must have a sufficiently high standard of English to meet the English language proficiency requirements.
